"There was a lot around the hotel (starbucks, food options, small local mall). It was also right across the street from the ferry which was convenient since we were going to spend some time at mackinaw island. Everything was very close and walkable (make sure you have comfy shoes). Breakfast was okay, but it did its job!"

"The American boutique Inn was an adorable property right in the heart of Mackinaw city Michigan. It was an easy walk to the fort, several beaches, and downtown. "The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk. The hotel is clean, breakfast was awesome (eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and other items). Our room was a king with couch, very spacious. "The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Yes, its older but it is in great condition and the views are stunning. The staff is beyond amazing. We were there for my daughter's wedding and they were very accomodating, even making sure all of our rooms wete ready for early check in. We will definitely be back!"
