"Great hotel and perfect location. A short walk to groceries, souvenirs, restaurants and even the ferry. The staff was very friendly especially Carol and helped with several items. Breakfast was good. I would highly recommend this hotel. One thing of note, the hotel called for the ferry shuttle for us, but after waiting about 20 minutes and seeing 2 shuttles leave from the public location across the steet we gavevup and went to the public shuttle stop"

"Could I give less than zero stars? We did not receive the code for a/the-room at all, until hours after I called the owners number and left a message as the motel does not have a staff or an office! After a hour sitting in the parking lot trying to get help, we left. Wish it would be listed on the Expedia site that the motel is not manned at all. I also texted the owner with no reply. Called Expedia customer service.. what a joke. All they wanted us to do was sign up for a gift card...

"The place was very old all the amenities and furniture where extremely old The staff was friendly, but no TV in the lobby was available Coffee was cold and tasted like water. Perhaps they recycled their coffee. When we ask for shampoo, there was only one and it was not enough for two people, and they declined to give us another shampoo They were bugs inside the room They do not change the towels or bedsheets, although they give us replacement The price was high for the provided room, amenities...

The showers are alittle outdated, but I feel that comes with the location! Gene & Lori the managers are the sweetest!! We enjoyed our conversation with them! On low wind nights they have bonfires on the beach!! Overall this is the place to stay!! "

"Room interior was nicely renovated but bathroom needs updating. Pool and hot tub area not connected so have to walk outside to get there. Pool building needs some work and the pool/hot tub needed to be cleaned. Fire pits and smores on the beach were a wonderful surprise. The staff was great and very friendly."

I was not going to waist my time calling for $2-3 drink. When we made the reservation there was a bonus a free ride for 2, when we got there initially the guy at reception did not have idea what it was and then he said it is not working at this time. "Our stay at Starlite Inn was very good. The staff member that we interacted with was very friendly our room was clean, tidy and spacious as was the bathroom. The air/heat unit worked well (we used heat). We felt very safe and parking is right outside your door. We would definitely stay here again. "
