B&B in Shelby County

"This is not your run-of-the-mill motel. The place is immaculate and the decor feels luxurious. The rooms feel more like a spare bedroom in a million dollar home with the lush carpet, crown moulding, arches, etc. Looks and smells fresh and clean throughout. Particularly noteworthy is the railroad/train motif with museum-like displays lining the hallways. A continental breakfast is usually predictably skimpy and boring, but this was the nicest I have seen with a nice selection of fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, bagels, plus all the other items you would expect including waffles. It was a bit pricey for us, because we usually get the cheapest motel with acceptable ratings, but this was so nice and comfortable that I will gladly spring for the extra money to have this experience again. NO REGRETS!!! "

"Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, service was great, good sized fridge, restaurants nearby (walmart within 1/4 mi and walgreens across the street). Also had a nice electric recliner in the room and nice sized TV. no complaints at all"

"I am going to start with the hosts. They make the place. The couple are amazing. Very friendly and kind. They work to give a good service and they exceed that. The breakfast has variety and adding hand made apple sauce(very delicious).They offered me different type of milks for my coffee. They also had a variety of juices. Very clean place and have particular decoration and you can buy stuff from their house. The house is old and something are antiques but everything works. They offers a heart shape jacuzzi in a separate bathroom with toilet. The only thing the bathroom is shareable. It's different and there is not noise from the traffic or people. very Natural and quiet. "
