I have been through Shannon a dozen times but never stayed here before -- I plan to, next time I visit Ireland. "

"What a delightful day. The Armada house is located directly across the street from the Armada hotel, so it offers peace and quiet and comfort in the Armada house while also having the services of a larger full service and louder hotel across the street. The staff here is really terrific, and there are numerous small touches which make this stay comfortable and nice. Highly recommend for travelers who want quiet and comfort"

"We stayed at The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre for one night after arriving in Ireland, and it was a perfect start to our trip. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the property itself is beautiful. It's set on lovely, quiet grounds with a fantastic view of the River Shannon from our room. "A full pool, hot tub, sauna, work out area was fantastic. The local community uses it too which is so sweet. The onsite dining is lovely.It has a small menu which is done well. The room was large and had both a shower and a tub. It is nice to stay out of the big tourist area, but still have access by car."
