Made to feel very welcome during a two night stay from first crossing the threshold. Thank you. Five stars. Two pretty grey days so didn't really see the outside of the house at the best time, but looked well kept. Easily within walking distance of the town centre - just travelled by public transport - and the location suited well.

Really great place to stay! Diane and Ian were both so lovely - very friendly, good at recommending stuff in the local area. The property was clean and had everything you needed. They cooked a terrific breakfast in the morning too! Would highly recommend and stay again if in the area

very friendly, good parking, Very enjoyable breakfast I am coeliac and was catered for very well no problems. Rooms clean and comfortable. If in the area again this is definitely my place to stay.

Myself and friends arrived very late yet they were very pleasant and accommodating. Everything was very clean. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The couple running this property were very warm and welcoming. The location of the property is also very central and close to restaurants. The rooms are properly maintained and breakfast is an absolute delight. This is a very nice place to stay when in Shaftesbury

Great for a quick stop-over!
We had booked for 7 nights but it became apparent very quickly that, because of my husband's health issues, the room we had was not suitable and so we left after two nights. The room was small. Fine for a short stay but nowhere to sit (apart from the bed) and no wardrobe. The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with every attention to our needs and wishes. The situation is handy if you want to be near a main road network and close to a roundabout. The fast food outlets and petrol station over the road convenient if that's what you need but not a pleasant situation.

Shaftesbury Visit
Diane & Ian were very welcoming, a great couple. They always had time for their guests and to have a chat. The accommodation was welcoming, homely, and very comfortable. We stayed 4 nights, and had a wonderful full English breaky 4 mornings, food was great and plentiful. Evening meals available if required and pre-booked, but we ate out as travelling around and visiting family. Parking, WiFi and Breaky included. I cant fault Holbrooks B&B, wish we could have stayed longer, but our travels would not permit, the rest of the UK was calling us! Location was good for us, travelling to Salisbury, Poole, Yeovil etc., very narrow streets as always in this part of the world.

Two day trip
A lovely B&B just on the outskirts of Shaftesbury,and only a short walk to town. Although on the main road it's reasonably quiet with ample parking. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice place!
Overall, a nice place to stay! We stayed in a triple and found the room clean with enough room for us and our luggage! The B&B was a little hard to find using Google Maps - it would be nice if they could include generalized directions with the confirmation. We stayed the night on our way to Stonehenge - it took us 30 min to get to Stonehenge from the B and B at 9AM on a Saturday in July.

Ett litet B&B med ett fantastiskt trevligt värdpar. Snyggt, rymligt och välstädat rum. Mycket god frukost! 8-9 minuters promenad till stadens centrum med flera restauranger och pubar.

Nice B&B hotel in countryside. Slept very well. Good tasty breakfast. Near center of Shaftesbury. Price reasonable. Good service.

Accueil refrigerant par madame.cela s'est un peu amélioré a notre départ. Contraste saisissant avec la jovialité de Monsieur Nous avons dû payer un supplément de 25 livres pour un couchage non utilisé. ( Nous avions toujours précisé que nous serions 3 personnes adultes.)
