"A lovely family run hotel both clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and a small bar where you can sit on the terrace under grapevines and look at the beautiful view. The hotel restaurant is extremely good and parking and breakfast are free. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be back."

"Breakfast was fine Mountain view was normal Room was clean Schdule for lunch/dinner are very tight.. no service at different hours, you had to book dinner with hours of anticipation. You could not order something from the menu because it was not time to serve."

"Parking is in a garage over 100m from hotel. Secure, but not in line with other reviews suggesting motorcycle could park at the hotel. Anyone wishing to use the pool you need to have a swimming cap which they will sell you for €5, which i thought was just silly so I never used any of the facilities. Garage parking was €7.50 per night but the spaces aren't very wide if you have a big car. Apps on TV and managed to plug in firestick."

"Delightful Old European Palace Hotel with beautiful premises and absolutely awesome staff and an awesome breakfast buffet and great traditional Portuguese cuisine - in one of Portugal’s most undiscovered but magnificent mountaineous area with stunning ancient stone villages out of medieval movie - I can only recommend you take a couple of days to come visit this area and stay at this beautiful hotel"

TELLEMENT un endroit extraordinaire, j’ai fallit ne pas réserver à cause du prix vraiment papa assez cher et du chemin à faire dans la montagne mais OMG le petit détour en valait vraiment la peine. Bien accueillit la maison tellement belle, moderne et bien équipé on ne s’attend pas à ça dans un vieux petit village en flan de montagne. La qualités des meubles, literie de qualité le lit tellement confortable, la décoration … Les 2 grandes terrasses au soleil et que dire...

"A very cool location and history to this converted building. Our room was very white and clean, a tribute to its past I'm sure. Staff were almost all great. Our waiter would go a long way if he smiled or at least pretended he was happy to have this job. Overall a good experience."
