All staff were amazing from our check in to bar service to dinner service. I had a massage which I would highly rate. Otavio and Bruno really stood out for us and went the extra mile. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very comfortable room and lots of lovely hotel facilities. We will definitely stay there again.

Nice little mountain spa hotel

I was using the hotel to break up a long drive from Santander to Lisbon. Arriving in the late evening, I feared the kitchen would be closed by the time I arrived. But the gentleman who checked me in quickly took me to the bar where they made me a toasted sandwich while I put my things in my room, which I greatly appreciated. The room was extremely comfortable, breakfast was good, and the little touches of wool and wool related paraphernalia were a nice touch. I didn't get to use the pool, but I'd definitely come back.

As a Stop on the way home……..

……this was a great find! Although we were not able to visit the town, the hotel was very conveniently placed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It made us want to return and explore for longer.

This is a very nice hotel with a fabulous breakfast! A really nice variety of quality foods at breakfast. All of it good. Parking is free and easy to find a spot even though the hotel was busy. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed staying here and would again!

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before overall very nice facilities. Very good upkeep rooms are spacious bathrooms, very modern and quality bed linens cozy however, mattress a bit rigid ,the service is friendly. The dining room staff is not very knowledgable and very green.

Didn’t start well when receptionist insisted I had prepaid and need to pay again. Still took several minutes after giving them a printed copy of my reservation. When they realised it was their error they were very apologetic but it was still awkward particularly with a big queue building up behind me. Pool facilities great. Bar lovely and bar staff take huge pride, rightly, in their cocktails but service was so slow. An hour to get a beer ordered when sat down for food. Often 20 mins directly at the bar. Tip…order 2 drinks each.

Fantastic value, luxury feel, great service, fantastic breakfast. Nice pool and steam room. Whilst it’s not the most picturesque location in the Serras, it’s a fanatastic luxurious base.

No printed bar menu said the staff because of their devotion to eco matters. I found one on the bar but was not allowed to take it away. We did not eat there that evening.

Moved room 4x during our stay at this hotel due to airconditioning and ventilation. Front desk staff seemed indifferent but did make an effort to help and even upgrade our room. Will be looking at other places to stay next time we are in this area.

So I rated it poorly because of check in staff. I had 2 rooms booked at same time but unfortunately a mistake was made with one of reservations and stated only one person. The staff was very nasty about it and made me pay $40 euros extra even though I showed them that rooms were booked at same time and it was a mistake. And also went on Expedia and showed them the room rate for that same day was half priced. What a nasty handling of this situation. I will NOT stay again ( and I go here twice a year since I have family there) . The rooms were nice and breakfast was very nice. The stay left a terrible taste in our mouths.

So the reason for my poor with you is that check and staff was very and accommodating to us. I had two rooms for two people each except that was a mistake made with one of the reservations in one room and it only stated there was one person. They made me pay 40 extra Euros For the second person even though I pointed out was the same price as the other room I booked and if I went online that they the hotel room same room was for half price. The customer service sucked. That’s just left a bad taste in our mouths. There are quite a few other options that are nice in town and I will not stay there again even though I do visit quite frequently since I have family in the area.

Atendimento ruim.

Atendimento da recepção e do pessoal do salão no café da manhã bem rude. O Bruno na recepção, após perguntar se haveria um quarto de frente, pois devido a uma grande festa dos estudantes que estava acontecendo bem atrás do hotel a madrugada toda, não dormimos nem por um minuto até as 5:35 da manhã, nos respondeu: todos estão reclamando, compre uns tampões e coloque nos ouvidos, pq hj vai continuar a festa … E qd questionei a outra recepcionista, ela nos mudou de quarto sem problema nenhum… E no café da manhã tb eles não fazem reposição nenhuma e tb são bem rudes no atendimento…
