Sama-Sama Express KLIA2 Airside Transit Hotel is located at Level 3 of the KLIA2 Airport Terminal Satellite Building. Guests should not pass through immigration. Guests must be on transit to another international flight via Air Asia only. Please note that the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (KLIA2) and KLIA are not connected. Checked-in luggage cannot be retrieved if guests stay in the transit hotel.
This property is located inside Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Terminal 2, in the international departure/transit/airside area. This property can only be booked by guests who are in transit on international flights, or who are departing on an international flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Guests departing on an international flight must have a valid boarding pass (flight check-in via web applicable) and only carry hand luggage. Guests on a connecting international flight must stay in the transit area, have a valid boarding pass, and only carry hand luggage. Please note that guests cannot access or retrieve their checked luggage while staying in the hotel. Passengers arriving from an international flight and transferring to a domestic flight at KLIA Terminal 2 cannot access this property. KLIA Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2 are not interconnected. It's easy to reach. Unlike the one in KLIA1, there was no window in the room. Sufficient amenities and place is clean. Quite quiet. Reception staff not very helpful though and did not introduce tp me the direction to the room or the wifi connection.

Not the cleanest rooms, probably because there's no windows and it feels like it's days-old oxygen you're inhaling. We paid a lot for it, around $70 USD. If you can get a good deal then great, but def not worth that much money.

Well worth it for longer layovers. Having the ability to shower and sleep on a real bed was invaluable to us during long layovers. We used this hotel twice during our trip and was glad we did on both occasions. Rooms are simple but bathrooms are well equipped. Overall would definitely book again in the future.

The Sama- Sama is great if you have an late connecting flight, very clean, staff was great. Doors are very noisy when closed, can hear other people in rooms or corridor, which is a problem if you are trying to sleep.

The hotel was great. What wasn’t great was being awoken by a staff member at 2:15 in the morning for no reason except “oh sorry, wrong room.” However, I would recommend this hotel for overnight stays and was very pleased with the room.

I would not recommend the property. I had a very bad experience. I mistakenly booked the property through Expedia for a transit overnight at KLIA2 on Oct. 15, 2022. I was not aware that the property could only be accessed before I checked through the immigration. What I did was looked around for the location of the property after the immigration counter and could not find it. I asked a security officer, and he told me that once I was already out, I could never return the property. After I realized I straight away made cancelation both to the hotel through the link provided by Expedia and to Expedia. I never got any reply from the hotel. However, I got a chance to chat through an online platform with a unanimous Expedia agent. Similarly, I lost hope, and I lost my money by mistakenly booking it. I never got a refund, and somebody got my money without any service rendered to me.

Very disappointed to have paid full price for the property being misled by promotional gimmicks of breakfast being included. Staff of Sama Sama were very accommodating and friendly. I do not think it was their fault for the misleading information. Woke up to find that breakfast is not included and that the kitchen crew has not been operating since covid. Expedia should remove the free breakfast to prevent any falsehood or misleading beliefs that will cause others to have thought that the price paid would include it.
