"Decent breakfast, clean room and fresh sheets. Property not suitable for people who have mobility issues narrow, steep winding stair cases. Would have been safer if someone offered to carry cases to room. Property was interesting as very old, possibly old staging house. Almost centre of town. "

"We didn't have breakfast. The room was clean and beds comfy, but the shower was very weak and kept falling forward so difficult to use. The pool is warm and usually nice but a large group of teenagers took over the pool and we had to leave as my daughter became anxious. Previously we have enjoyed the pool."

"Very agreeable, traditional hotel in just about the most quintessentially English town you can get. In the town centre and in the right direction if you're coming by train. Will happily return."
