We knew the property was remote but assumed there would be food available on site. This has not been the case since Covid. Management did not advise of this.
There is a communal kitchen, which on arrival was poorly maintained to our disappointment. There was no dishwashing liquid or cleaning sponge and the blender was sitting out dirty.
Management organised a scoter, but IDR (cash) is the only way to pay for groceries, petrol and most things in the area. So be cashed up and bring meal supplies.
The access to the property has dirt roads and a dual track driveway through some amazing scenery and lush rice paddies. The beach has black volcanic sand and is inhabited by locals and a few beach dogs.
We would go back, but be better prepared.
