Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older..."

And we ended up in nearby underground jazz bar Zac Baran twice, as well as a tiny local restaurant about 15 minutes walk west, same side of street as hotel, called kawahigashi (it also says 'food and beverage' in English outside). We were the only people on a weeknight, with a single chef/server doing everything, and the food was...
