I really wanted to love this place because it ticked all the boxes. Free breakfast, which was great for me and my kids. Pet friendly, even received a basket with a dog towel, bowls and treats just for the dog! Amazing!! Decent pricing, always a huge plus!
My problem was with the room itself. Though nice and clean, the bathroom had to shelving for toiletries and space I front of the mirror was small in our double bathroom. I understand, structurally why this is, but a small table or shelves could have been added to the bathroom to help accommodate the need. Also, the fireplace was not working and the first two nights the room was a little chilly until we turned up the heaters. So, not terrible but it showed a working fireplace. Lastly, the kitchenette had a double burner that did not work at all. It barely got a lot of water to warm up after being on for 45 minutes. In order to save money on food with two kids, it’s important to pack and cook multiple meals in our room, especially if it comes with a kitchenette, this one did not get the job done. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and helpful with great recommendations and the location was ideal. If they could just fix these small issues, it would get a 5 star rating from us.
