Great National Hotels Scottish Highlands hotels

"We arrived 3 hrs early thinking we would explore the town before check-in. Unfortunately it was pouring of rain. My partner asked in the hotel to use the toilet explaining what's our plans were to the receptionist who offered us access to the health suite, we were delighted and really appreciated early access to the health suite. We practically had it to ourselves. It was lovely, the sauna was very relaxing with the tranquil music softly playing. It really made a difference to our stay, gave us more time to enjoy the hotel after booking in. Our room was warm, cosy, clean. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The following morning we had a lovely breakfast, all fresh and plenty of options to suit everyone. Prices in the bar were reasonable offering a relaxing area to enjoy a few drinks. Staff were all really lovely, so helpful. All in all we had a lovely 2 night stay definitely recommend and hope to return in the future."

"The room was clean tidy and well equipped. As we are british we drink tea and the room has two tea bags.... I know you can get them from reception but quite frankly its poor. We had drinks in the bar prior to eating out with our friends and the bar prices I felt were very reasonable and were cheaper than the restaurant we ate in. However the bar staff (young man) spent most of his time chatting to other members of staff rather than mannin the actual bar. He was polite and courteous but need to pay attention to waiting customers. Breakfast was as usual superb I hate the tea pots I would prefer simple ones with tea bags and the toast should be brought with the breakfast."

"This was the cutest hotel with so much character. The parking was rough as they only have a few spots but the car park was close by. The room and hotel were always clean and the staff was very friendly."

"We had booked an overnight and enjoyed the area and hotel so much we extended for an extra night. The staff were so kind and helpful and even allowed us to stay in the same room. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was ok, plenty on offer but the buffet style quality wasn't great and the beans were cold. Our room had a king size bed and a single bed, chairs, plenty storage and spotless bathroom. Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Pitlochry. "
