"Room clean. The extra shelving in the room helped with extra stuff! The water was hot! The Kind bars for breakfast and local coffee! Is a nice change to just cereal and toast. We would stay here again. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Great place to stay.. oh and we needed a toothbrush! Very hospitable!"
"I only wanted a soft bed and a hot shower after camping for 3 nights in Acadia; this motel (it's NOT a hotel) offered that. Very basic small room, clean with A/C, but I loved the grounds; very pretty, and way back off Rt. 3, the main highway on Mt. Desert Island. It is NOT an "ocean view" however; on the north side of the island there is only a very pretty far-away view of "the narrows" connecting Frenchman Bay on the east and Blue Hill Bay on the west. All but perhaps 4 of the rooms here have balconies with lovely views of this scene, but I was offered one with no view; still, I paid only $70 for the room, including taxes, which is an incredible deal given how pricey the Bar Harbor area is, even at this time of year when the summer season hasn't kicked in yet. They do have a pool and huge separate area with a lovely view of the Narrows; they offer a "continental breakfast" but don't expect more than a cup of java. I was happy with my purchase."
"Everything about the Bar Harbor Manor was amazing. We had a fabulous time. The staff were very very helpful. Christopher even helped us start our vehicle when our engine had died we will definitely be returning. Would recommend this property to everyone."
"An older style property that had been updated with quality fittings and fixtures hosted by a warm and friendly staff that is eager to please.
Limited selection of breakfast items but close to the downtown area and quite a few dining options within walking distance. We had a very pleasant stay and would certainly visit again.
The only downside was a shortage of ADA accessable rooms and handicap parking."
"Very clean. New feeling. Fantastic included breakfasts cooked to order.
Boutique..it's a room and a restaurant. Friendly staff.Parking is great... private garage. Walkable to everything."
