"Amazing breakfast, worth paying extra breakfast fee to the stay. Menu were the same throughout 4days but many fresh veges/fruit with salmon, sausage etc and satisfied. Free water in the lobby but coffee was not free. Room had kettle and fridge. The desk was not wiped but other furnitures were clean. Gym was nice and opens 24hr. It was about 7min walking distance from train station. Would recommend this hotel."

"Location, price, breakfast & super helpful staff were the best parts of this hotel. It is super close to the heart of the city as well as close to the U station as well as a five minute walk to the river to take a river cruise. Staff was super helpful, and the breakfast was unbelievably great with all types of threads, eggs, cold, cuts, fruit, etc. ALSO - the restaurant attached the hotel was recommended as one of the best restaurants in town so it was super easy to dine in there every night after a long day of touring. Definitely a big plus The one downside is this is a very old building and there is no air air-conditioning, but they were able to provide standing fans. The rooms are very basic with no carpeting on the floor, and the beds are very low to the ground with very hard mattresses. ALSO - the rooms do not have a the rooms do not have a safe to keep your valuables in. Every room is so very different with the layout. While we had a very large walk-in closet. Our bathroom was so tiny and the worst part was our shower required an actual stepstool to get up into it. Very dangerous for elderly people or people who are unsteady on their feet. Be sure to check your bathroom before accepting the room."

"Very nice hotel, room was clean , staff were all very friendly, the pool/ sauna area was beautifully maintained and was fully stocked with towels for day use. Restaurants were nice , the tapas lounge was very slow to receive service but the staff were pleasant. Would recommend ."

"Fantastic location we upgraded to business suite with river view which was amazing and well worth it. The staff were friendly and accommodating ( a rarity in Germany) and eager to help. The coffee in the lounge was very good as well. The only less than 5 star thing was that it is getting tired and needs some TLC soon. Carpet in hall ways need to be replaced as stained in spots and clearly worn. More vacuuming as well as same visible debris on carpet for 5 days. With attention to detail it would be even more amazing place."
