"Newly renovated rooms, big marple bathroom, good matresses, nice furnitures. The breakfast buffet is imppressive, the food varity and freshness is extraordinary. Very friendly and supporttive stuff. The associated Dama Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. "
"This was a great place to stay for my 10 days in Venice. The location is quiet but still in the ‘thick of things’. A great local bar has opened up close by. Cafes, bistros, a supermarket, shops - all close by. I would have liked a folder that gave me a few hints for the area and good places to go - but otherwise it was fantastic!"

"Wonderful stay at Hotel Ala ( our 2nd time). Perfect location, beautiful, spacious room, excellent service, expansive breakfast, all around perfect place to stay for any length of visit to Venice. "
"The manager bent over backwards for us. He was just lovely and made our stay so great! He recommended fantastic restaurants, gave us directions and even booked our water taxi to the airport. Awesome! "
"We had a great stay there. The staff was excellent with great advice on what to do and where to eat. It is a very interesting building (former monastery) and I wish I had time to learn more about it."
"Bedroom wax beautiful with good air conditioning.
Only issue unable to o relax in room when needed to as tv only had news channels in English, only do much news you can hear especially when it is on a loop."
"This place is amazing. The location is truly everything. You are right next to the Rialto bridge with beautiful views from our room of the Grand Canal. The staff was extremely helpful, always willingly providing recommendations and helping with luggage. Breakfast included eggs, not just croissants and the seating was right on the sidewalk by the water. St. Marks Basilica and Doge Palace were only a 10 minute walk through the Venetian streets where you can do some shopping along the way and get a little lost. The air conditioning was perfect and we left the windows open at night for the cool breeze. The terrace was a great nightly option, bring your drink and snack just relax and watch the hustle and bustle below. Highly recommend this place. "
