"The location is great and Povacao is such a lovely town. The hotel has some nice features such as the pool and the circular staircase but somehow it has very little good atmosphere. The welcome is not very friendly and a four star hotel should provide pool towels without demanding a deposit or having to sign a contract not to use the ones from the room. The breakfast is ok and the beds are very comfortable. "

"Rooms were very nice and they also gave us complimentary bottle of wine. Service was nice but we had dinner only once. The views from the dinning room and the pool were spectacular! If you like quaint and quiet place, this is the place."

"A good location at the top of the hill and has great indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Rooms are a good size and beds comfortable. Some of the decor is a little tired and the breakfast really is not worthy of a four star hotel."
