Mattress soaked in urine and broken glass outside

Mattress and bed sheets were soaked in urine from the previous guests. Also lots of broken glass on the terrace. We informed the host Mary, who quickly arranged for the mattress to be swapped with the 2nd bedroom. Fortunately we didn’t need this room as there were only two of us staying, however there didn’t seem to be an alternative had we needed both rooms. The view from the villa is amazing and very private, unfortunately our stay was spoilt by the lack of cleanliness.
