"Solo woman traveler here. Felt very safe. Loved the convenience and options of breakfast every morning. The garden is lovely and wished I had spent more time there. The room was nothing fancy, but my time there was great. Thankfully nobody was staying next door to my room because the last night I was there I could hear furniture moving, loud conversations bc the walls were paper thin. Thankfully I had ear plugs. Beds are not very comfortable but w all the walking, had no trouble sleeping....

"Fantastic hotel! It’s located off the main tourist areas so it’s quiet but still close enough that a few minutes walk puts you right on the main thoroughfares. Finding the door can be a little tricky but the staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are just the right size and have AC units that are almost too effective. Surprising bonus: there’s an elevator! Can’t recommend this hotel enough, it was a great find and provides fantastic value for the price. "

"We absolutely adored this hotel in every way. The views were not to be believed. It was only a 10 to 15 taxi to anywhere in Florence. Heavenly. My only suggestion is please add a shower curtain to the bath/ shower area so the water doesn’t spray all over the bathroom. Otherwise, this place will exceed anyone’s expectations and dreams! "Excellent property but who I have to give credit to is the receptionist Eduina who waited for me until I got to the hotel from train station. She was welcoming and gave me excellent recommendations on dining options around the hotel. As the initial face and representative of the hotel she demonstrated the high quality and excellent standards of Relais II Cestello. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Firenze.
