"Check-in meant completing an online form after which a code was provided to gain access via key pad. The room key was left in a key box with code written on a folded note on the reception desk. Room was good with a small bathroom. Only saw the receptionist once and she was helpful and collected the city tax. Breakfast was poor - last morning nobody on site and no hot water in the kitchen. There was a barista style coffee machine which was switched off and a kettle that did not work. The breakfast is basic and probably not worth the effort. Would I return - absolutely not. This is more of an Air BnB with multiple rooms sharing kitchen facilities. The owners are doing the minimum possible and overall I’m afraid it’s the worst place we have stayed in a long time. Noisy guests smoking outside on the pavement below our room, people coming and going at all times of the night. This is an old property with stone floors so every footstep is amplified. The quality of your sleep will very much depend upon how respectful the other guests are. I formed the opinion that this was probably a hands off investment property for someone rather than a serious guesthouse or hotel. Would I recommend it - definitely not there are better places to spend your hard earned money."

"Room was okay, don’t expect anything great. It was a large apartment divided into multiple suites from the one entrance. The breakfast room was not open in the morning. We had to leave at 8am and breakfast was not available. The walk to the main attractions across the river was not bad."
