"Room was clean. No way to toddler/kid proof the door so it just opens without a top latch. Security rushed us out the parking lot at 11:00am on the dot even as he saw us loading everything into the car. Food at the bar&grill was good but the serving sizes were NOT worth the price. My children ate adult size meals and were still hungry.. 7 fried shrimp and about 9 French fries for $18.99+ tax 😳 the staff at both the hotel and bar&grill were friendly."

"Key security access for elevator use is good. Room was nice and comfortable. Upholstery needs some attention. Breakfast was good. Vending machines were iffy and front desk purchases are $$. Parking is easy and its a short walk onto the beach. I'd definitely stay there again. "

"Only one issue with room 1101 top floor for two days key card wouldn’t work at all maintenance did come up fast and we had many new re programmed cards made. Issues was with the door not closing and locking properly. After that issue was taken care of it was a splendid time at this resort. Great staff and great breakfast too fun times in the pool and hot tub. Short walk to beach. Highly recommended Mr Harrington "

"Beach was a perfect view and pool was great. The restaurant was pricy and would’ve been nice to have atleast breakfast complimentary and bottled water in the rooms. "

"This place good, second shift staff has excellent customer service , first shift - not so much. breakfast was good but super busy! Hard to pick from when there’s so many ppl.. we did pay extra for parking. We also got the wristbands to pool-hop from 3 other next door resorts- kids loved it! The rooms were huge but the bathroom was so small!! Hard to share with 3 other ppl . "

"Stayed at the The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach and was very disappointed. The hotel is outdated and feels more like a 2-star than a 4-star. The rooms and common areas were not very clean, and the towels and linens looked worn and dirty. There was even sand around the bed, which made it seem like the room wasn’t properly cleaned. Housekeeping also threw away my personal item, which was frustrating. The only positives were the ocean view and the food trucks. Overall, the pricing does not...

"Could’ve had a complementary breakfast of some sort but it was a beautiful place. It had a wonderful view. A wonderful pool always had clean towels delivered was for sure. A five star experience for me and my family."

"My son & I have made this our annual beach trip celebrating his birthday. This is year 3 for us & our stay was just as good, if not better than all other years. I love that breakfast is included & the hotel is really kid friendly. My son & I made it down for breakfast 5 min after it ended & one of the ladies noticed us & went out of her way to ask if we wanted anything & she fixed our plates. I am overly satisfied & feel so refreshed when we leave. I would be selfish & keep our spot on the hush...

"The staff was very accommodating! Check-in was beyond easy. Beautiful unobstructed ocean views! The food at the poolside bar is great as well. We enjoyed the brunch twice. Felt quite safe with 2 young children. Will most definitely be back!"

"The room was clean and the shower was wonderful. Hot water and lots of pressure. We had to get our on towel s and toiletries when we ran out. No housekeeping visited our room. 3,night stay. You have to pay a third party for parking which was $15.00 a day plus taxes. The balcony view was great, the beds were soft and the room was quiet. "

"We were welcomed by the staff and our room was ready when we arrived at 12:10 p.m. I had registered online and did not have to wait for the 4 p.m. normal checkin. No early check in fees. The location was excellent, beach view with balcony. Parking was easy but $25 per day. Our room was clean. Refrigerator and microwave in room and coin laundry available on our 5th floor, and possibly on each floor."
