"The staff was great and accommodating but the actual property in itself was subpar. Our room smelled like gas/sewage and the bathroom had black mold all on the ceiling. The pool area was clean besides some broke lounge chairs. The beach entrance and beach was very clean. Overall the property is just ok. It’s not terrible and it’s not great. The breakfast in the AM is cool too. A very accommodating parking lot too for guests"

"Enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. It’s right by the beach. Not too far from Destin. Management company was on point. There was a mixup with chair service but a quick call and it was corrected. Also the tennis net needed to be replaced and it was done really quick. Place was clean and room temp was good. Beds were comfy. Elevators wait time was not too bad but expected. We would stay there again. "
