"I am a senior lady traveling alone and felt very safe. The area was well lighted at night. The room (king) was quaint and more than satisfactory. The best part was the bed (and even the pillows). Not sure the brand ( I tried to find out :>). I slept so well - I have back issues and this was the best I've slept in months. I walked into downtown (Salida) every morning... 1.7 miles (downhill :>) I would definitely stay here again. It is right on Rainbow (the hwy) but it is a 'motor hotel' -...

"I cannot say enough good things about this property. We stayed in the Merle Airstream and it was amazing. Quiet, comfortable, cozy, relaxing, etc. We sat in the lobby in the hanging chairs and relaxed for a long time. Enjoyed a very nice weekend away and will definitely be back!"

"Very clean room and easy to make a reservation last minute. Staff kind and friendly and let us know that there was continental breakfast in the morning and that the hot tub was open til 10 PM if we wanted to use it."
