There were spider webs in the room. Staff did not remove them during our stay. We asked for an additional blanket, but it was stained and smelled. I paid a non-refundable $3 fee for a beach towel. "Pretty hotel, lovely grounds, tasty food. Rooms tidy, attractive, comfortable. Splurge on a room with view of the grounds and lagoon, upper floors, with balcony. Housekeeping staff so friendly. Front desk staff, males were efficient, polite and smiled. Females were efficient, curt, sullen, never smiled. But I am told they are this way because they are French women. It’s like a disability, so we must forgive them."
