"We always our stay at The Lodge at Vail. We always ask to be in their new section, lux room, Mountain View.. Those rooms are really nice. We did encounter a couple plumbing issues, like a slow draining shower, shower fixture coming off, etc.. but nothing egregious. The staff is very friendly and we always enjoy having g breakfast at their outdoor patio restaurant. Haven’t been to Elways for dinner, but it looks really nice!"

"I was surprised at how nice and spacious the room was. One thing that was tricky was that there wasn’t a lot of information about how things worked in the room. It took me half an hour to figure out how to turn the TVs on. A simple direction sheet would’ve been a big help. It took a while to figure out the Wi-Fi as well. And the front desk is only staffed for a few hours a day, which was not convenient. I arrived late in the evening with no idea about where I could get something to eat, and the only option was the dive bar downstairs. The food was OK, but even some vending machines in the building would’ve been nice. However, having said all that I loved my room and I thought it was a great value and a very convenient location once I figured out how the buses worked."
