The property location was second to none, and the envy of the thousands of tourists passing by the luxurious front gate and vine covered portico. The area is in the heart of most the historical sites, challenging walk from parking lot to hotel with luggage but that is to be expected. The balcony door is very sound proof, we can barely hear the noise from the street at night. There is an elevator to bring your luggages up. Very friendly staff and good service. "Located just outside Messina Gate, location is quiet but quick access to Corso and not far from funicular. Attentive, friendly staff. Nice breakfast on the roof level. Hotel has a Michelin 2 star restaurant (which we did not dine at-- didn't realize prior to check -in and we had other plans). Recommend highly!"
