Great hotel, nestled in the near beach area. Need to use a back road to get to it but the property is BEAUTIFUL! Pool, bar, restaurant, all great, awesome staff! Great resort!

Food selection very limited. Shower sprays outside the curtain and make a very wet bathroom. Bathroom needs hooks to hang clothes or have small vanity for clothes needed after shower. Staff is accommodating and efficient.
Absolutely beautiful property! We had a wonderful stay. We were able to arrange a land tour through the resort that brought us to the beautiful waterfalls and scenery in Siquijor.
Friendly staff, but food and drinks were not great
Had a great time lounging by the pool and swimming up to the pool bar. The room was very nice and so was the staff. They helped us get motor bikes for the time we were there and had on-site laundry service. However, the mixed drinks at the bar all came in tiny martini glasses and were not very good. They had a tough time making any good drinks, so I stuck with drinking the only brand of beer they had instock. The food there was not very good either, which was a shame, since the dining area was nice and the waiters were very friendly. All and all, i would stay again, but wouldnt waste my time ordering food there. The tuktuk rides were a bit on the expensive side to get to town and most of the restaurants in town were hit or miss. I do realize the place has only been open since September, but the owner needs to get a better chief. They're losing out on a lot of potential money by serving mediocre food and drinks.
We loved our stay at Slamangka! The room was perfect, everything was clean and well kept. We liked the was a bar by the pool and the restaurant serves delicious food! The staff was very kind and helpful and helped organize day trips. You can also rent scooters from the resort and they have a dive center as well. We would highly recommend this stay and hope to go back one day! Thank you Salamangka!
A very beautiful resort. My mistake was I didn't check how the beach was at their property and I was sorely disappointed that it was a rocky beach and requires you to walk quite far to get to a part where you can swim (which we didn't even attempt). If you're looking for a good resort that offers diving for beginners or pro this might be a good one for you. But if you're looking to lounge around the beach and swim in the ocean, this might not be it. The shore itself was grainy and lots of corals and shells. The shore doesn't seem to be well-maintained, too because of the trash. (Maybe it's not their responsibility) Food was not very good. Ordered a burger and the buns were too thick and tough, I appreciate the effort that it looked like it was baked in-house, unfortunately, it was not good. Ordered chicken adobo and they used the breast part, it was overcooked, the chicken was tough and didn't have much sauce on it. Got Caipirinha and Amaretto Sour and didn't taste the way it's suppose to be. The salad, paksiw na fish and turon was delicious tough. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and was a little dismayed that we have to go get a tuktuk so we can go to another beach to lounge and snorkel. The rooms are beautiful though. They serve free nespresso coffee. Gives you a reusable water bottle to refill, which is a nice touch. Most of the staff seems to be OJT from TESDA and quite unsure what they need to do yet. Overall an okay stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
