So this iconic spot rocks!! (Excuse the pun) the view and the beach cannot be beat, and the staff is outstanding in every respect. The restaurant is very good, which is a good thing, because there really isn’t a lot of other dinning options nearby. Still, limited dinning takes a back seat to the wonderful setting and relaxing vibe. Of course, this is all true, but you should be aware that if there is one hotel on the island that is a destination for day tourist, it is Mandalong Rock Resort. This simply means that expect to have a full resort every weekend as a number of Instagram wannabes show up to the resort to take countless photos of themselves. And of course, if you’re unlucky enough, you might be treated to a family birthday party with Karoke machine ready to roll over your idealic Vaca. Still, I’d definitely stay here again, but I’d make sure it was on a week day

- So bad, I didn’t even stay there - Upon arriving around 12pm, we were told to wait until 2pm to check in. (it was a straight "no, room is not ready. check in is 2pm, come back at 2" - very shocking no hospitality) This should have alarmed me, but I waited under the sun for a long time... and checked in after 2pm. The room was so tired and dirty, "beach front" room does not have a beach view as they claimed on the description, smelly air in the room, stained bath towels.... I could not stay there, so I complained at the reception, and the manager told me they can't do anything about it, and told me to contact Expedia instead. So I checked out at 2:45pm. Contacted Expedia after I relocate myself to another accommodation. Expedia did all they can to get a hold of hotel rep by emails and phone calls, but the resort ignored all of them. Very disappointed, as the Santiago resort I stayed was not bad, and the owner is the same. - Bad customer service - Photos of the exterior must be old, they now have a beaten up, tired looking octopus slider (which is not functioning) on the small islands area.

Place was super relaxing and the staff were very accommodating. Looking forward for my next stay in Camotes still at Mangodlong Rock Resort. The price offered by Expedia was such a great deal! I was able to save a lot from the usual walk in price..

The room was clean very basic. No fridge in the room. The resterant was good at very good prices, out of the seven days we stayed four of those days we had no towels in the room & had to ask for them & two of those days we got one towel between me and my wife. The small beach was nice but you had a lot of day trippers coming in & sometimes they were quite noisy. On the whole we had nice chill out

Overall it is a great value and good location. A short distance to white beach and a scooter rental just outside the front door. The room was great by comparison to others on the island. Spacious, nice bathroom and shower. Clean, nice TV. Coffee service tray. Restaurant was good, staff was good. Try the halo halo when it’s available. The only disappointment was the water slide looks like It hasn’t functioned in several years. The swimming area is a bit rocky but not too bad and it’s the ocean. With a mask and snorkel it’s all there. Overall very interesting, and unique and comfortable. I would stay there again. Very casual. Nice pool.

What a shame
The parking area was dirt. The room only had a sheet for blanket and one tiny pillow each person. Towels are not change to clean ones upon request because we only stayed one night, considering they are a beach resort they would be offering change clean towels. If you request extra towel, you pay 50 pesos per towel. The slides for the octupus whic was the main reason we booked it was closed even when the water was high tide. The food wasnt good at their resto. The pool has a swimming fee. The shore is rocky and full of algae. Front desk staff was not informative and was not helpful.

Unfortunately, there was no internet when we came. Other than that the resort was great and their staff were friendly. Although, I was told by one of the staff that I needed to pay more to have our towels changed the second time.

The hotel is in a great location. stunning views and the staff were very helpful. The only thing that let the place down was that the hotel could be updated in places looking very tired and the rooms could do with being updated too furniture very tired and broken. The cleanliness of the room could be a lot better not very clean. There is no wifi at this hotel at all very disappointing as this is on it the reason I booked there. But part of the negative comments the place was very beautiful and I would visit again

In general, the impression from the Resort is positive. Stayed there for three nights in December 2016; beachfront room #2. Pros: clean and comfortable room; clean area - you can see that management invests efforts to make the resort better; OK restaurant - nothing special but good enough to eat; friendly and helpful personnel BIG cons: somehow different insects from outside managed to get into the room. Maybe under the entrance door - there was about 1 cm space there. "Insects" = huge spider (6-7 cm I guess) and equally huge flying beetle... This must be fixed.

It was for the price an OK resort. Friendly and helpful reception. Staff (restaurant) not competent, and not friendly. Breakfast limited choices, and rather expensive. Location and view was great. Very nice beach, and swimming pool.

I visited this idyllic place to go scuba diving. Resort did not have my booking from Hotel.com. Overbooked so first night in "the residence". No hot water and lethal staircase. Moved room next day. Fruit shakes, mango, pineapple or banana. Usually one of the three were available. Kitchen closed 8.30 pm. Alcohol... One brand of beer and that ran out. No service, even at dining room. Had to ask for menu, ask for a drink. Never offered anything. Room was never serviced. Had to ask for more toilet paper....

the room is okay. except for a crappy TV with very poor channel viewing. none cable. aircon is very good. the staffs are friendly. the best thing about the place? its the beach! its what were after so the room is just fine if you're a beach bum.... sad thing about it. expedia charge us extra for the room.. shame on you expedia.

Beautiful Spot, but rooms need attention
Beach was nice with lovely turquoise water. Along the edges were scenic rock formations which had walkways made for guests. Nice volleyball court, but was rough on bare feet. Room had A/C and was "semi-clean", but had many insects. This was the main issue. Restaurant staff were very nice and made special items for us off of the menu. Reasonable menu prices as well. I liked the spot very much, but would not return to stay in the rooms, as insects are a pet peeve of mine.

I NEED A REFUND , BAD CUSTOMER CONNECTION IN PHILIPPINES .WITH EXPEDIA , went to ferry but the weather made all ferries cancelled so could not get there .Had to go back to my hotel in Cebu was very frustrated not to be able to get contact with hotel or the Philippines EXPEDIA as i need my money back due to force majure of bad weather .

아기자기한 망고들록 락 리조트
사실 망고들롱 파라다이스 리조트랑 헷갈려서 여기를 예약했어요. 우선 파라다아스 리조트는 자리도 없었고요. 그래서 처음엔 실망을 할뻔 했는데 락 리조트 앞 바다풍경을 보고 넘 행복했습니다! 스노쿨링하기에도 락 리조트 앞 바다가 훨씬 좋은 거 같아요~ 바다 바로 옆 식당도 있어서 물놀이 하다 바로 망고쥬스도 먹었고 저녁에는 공연도 있어서 좋았어요~ 아기자기한 느낌의 숙소라 기억에 남을 거 같아요. 덕분에 카모테스에서 좋은 추억 남기고 갑니다.
