"this is such a beautiful space with kind and courteous staff. The resort is so serene and beautiful, and rich with wild costa rican nature. Just the occasional inconsistencies with the cleanliness of the floors, and odors in the room, that could be resolved with more attention to cleaning and by providing air fresheners - that was my only critique. As the resort is often fully booked because it's truly a gem."

The only negative was that they did not serve any food (except breakfast) and that the roof made a lot of noise when it was raining (there are some kind of plastic protection on the roof of the room which make the rain sound a lot, hard to sleep without earplugs). "The property is a mini animal sanctuary, with many agouti running around and sloths hanging in the trees. Many birds and frogs and even a kinkajou, although hard to spot. "It’s a family run business and the owner was super nice and helpful , the property was peaceful , the only noise was the wild animals on the property like howler monkeys and lots of exotic bird species , the owner prepared a papaya from the tree right in front of our room , it was delicious.
