Great hotel but 4 miles from train station. Beware nothing is open in mid-November! Beach beautiful but no restaurants open.

The property was top notch & the room was very nice and spacious. Unfortunately, my wife's jewelry was stolen from the room. The hotel staff didn't seem too concerned when we reported it. They told us to go to the police. We filed a police report & are still waiting to hear back from the police. Beware!!

Hotel was extremely comfortable, and staff were friendly and very responsive to any needs. A great breakfast, too. The beach was close, and there were lots of local eating options nearby. A great travel experience for our family.

Highly recommend!
The Smeraldo hotel is absolutely top-notch in every way, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely return the next time we visit San Benedetto del Tronto. Our room was super clean, spacious, and well-appointed and had a large balcony with a fantastic view of the Adriatic. The service staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

Our new favorite San B. hotel
We had a lovely suite with a great balcony and view of the sea, room #404. The place was immaculate and the staff were very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and appears to be pretty new. Our friends who live here say it is one if only two five star hotels in the area. It has a very new design and almost everything is white. It must be a nightmare to keep clean and that is one criticism my wife and her cousin had. They said there was a persistent smell of Clorox (bleach) or chlorine that was too strong and unpleasant. We had a suit with a view over the beach and also ti the side of the pool with two bedrooms and two baths which could actually sleep 5 and two terraces. There was a full and well equipped kitchen. In short it was an elegant holiday rental.

This is a beautiful property across the street from the beach. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. There is limited parking in an underground garage, but you have to ask about it. Unfortunately, the weather has been cold and rainy and not conducive to outdoor activity, so no comments on the nice pool. One note -- if you are here on a Sunday night, most restaurants are closed (including the one in the hotel), so you will need to cruise the area and just grab one that appears open. We would definitely stay here again.

The bar at the hôtel wasn't open in the afternoon. Because it wasn't the high season, pool and spa on roof wasn't warm water. Nice hôtel and area

This is a lovely property probably one of the best in San Benedetto del Tronto. However, our check-in did not go well as our arrival was delayed by Trenitalia problems and they gave us a very dingy room in the back. The next day we had to pay more for an upgrade to a front seaview suite as nothing else was available.

Perfect Italian getaway
Absolutely amazing! Great location, great amenities, outstanding staff, and within walking distance for whatever you would need. We received a discount on cabanas when we went to the beach. The free breakfast had an adequate selection of pastries, meat, cheeses, and beverages. The hotel was spotless, housekeeping was fantastic, and was there if you ever needed anything extra. We have stayed in other hotels in San Benedetto, but not anymore, Smeraldo Suites & Spa will be our permanent accommodation going forward! We had the Deluxe Suite that slept 5, and 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a stocked kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, refrigerator, and microwave. A sleeper sofa in the living area with a balcony overlooking the Adriatic with seating for 4.

Great beach front location
Stayed here one night on an Italian road trip..great location on the beachfront..hotel has its own underground car park. Decent size pool that was well used. Within walking distance of great bars and restaurants/cafes. If you are an LGBT traveller a bar on the beach front offers a friendly welcoming atmosphere with cheap drinks and snacks. Pity we didn’t stay here longer...

Excellent view from 3rd floor seafront junior suite. Awesome daily cleaning service (one of the best I never seen). €10 SPA entry price for hotel guest with 2 hours course is a grateful amenity. Even if there is the hob a Kettle in the suite would be appreciated. Thank you See you soon.

Room was minimalist - no chair, little drawer space, nothing on walls, pictures, mirror-just basic Not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel Breakfast : little choice with either hard/overripe fruit, watery yoghurt and small, noisy area to eat in No private beach, you pay 20e for a chair/umberella on nearby beach Solarium closed as it had rained overnight??
