"I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at your property. I originally booked a two-night stay for $263; however, I was ultimately charged $362. When I returned to the front desk for clarification, I was told there was a $20 parking fee. This fee was not disclosed during booking, nor was it mentioned at check-in. In addition to the unexpected charges, the condition of the room was unacceptable. Upon arrival, my child found a dirty sock on the floor, indicating the room had not been properly cleaned. When I reported this to housekeeping, their response was dismissive and unprofessional. There were also multiple maintenance issues. The toilet did not flush properly, and the air conditioning unit was not functioning. After contacting the front desk, maintenance was sent, but I was told the issue could not be fixed at that time. Instead, I was provided with a fan, which did not resolve the problem. Due to time constraints, I was unable to relocate to another hotel. At checkout, I was informed that I would receive a reimbursement; however, I have not yet received any refund or follow-up communication. Given the undisclosed fees, poor room conditions, and lack of resolution during my stay, I am requesting a prompt reimbursement. Please provide an update on the status of this refund at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

"When we first arrived the bed sheets were all stained n we asked if they could come out clean ones and they made us go downstairs n get clean ones n put them on ourselves. "

"I'm usually the kind of guy that goes to a Motel 6, and when I get Motel 6-level service, I give them 5 stars. My experience at the Crockett Hotel was not up to Motel 6 standards. The AC fan in the room was loud and likely failing, waking me up all night every time it went off. The sink was plugged. The shower water crossed the spectrum from being scalding to frigid multiple times during my shower. When I left my room in the morning, the hotel had not been swept or vacuumed, it seemed, for days. To top it all off they wanted a non-refundable $120 to let my dog in the room which I was unaware of, and did not have covered parking. I found covered parking elsewhere and the dog slept in the truck. I will say though that my room, specifically, was clean and so the cleaning staff did a good job with that. Everything else - check with *management*. There is no way they don't know about these ignored details. It's a shame they run this venerable old hotel this way. They're clearly coasting on the hotel's reputation or location. Next time I will be staying at a LaQuinta or Motel 6, and likely give them 5 stars."

"This is the perfect hotel for a staycation and out of town guests! So cute, all rooms are suites which gives lots of room for comfort. Hotel valet, front desk and cleaning personnel were amazing!! They were always there to help if needed. Restaurants, night life, and great views of the Riverwalk are all walking distance. We will definitely recommend to people and be staying again!! "
