"This property was advertised as a hotel, but it’s not. There was nobody there at the property to welcome us, nor was there anyone to ask for anything like toilet rolls or extra pillows and there wasn’t a floor mat for stepping out of shower. As my husband is elderly he didn’t have a shower in case he slipped on the floor. Because there was nobody at the property on arrival we left part on our luggage in the car as it was difficult to carry up 2 flights of narrow stairs. To crown it all the room...

"On arriving I was the outside appearance was a bit of a shock and I doubted wether as a single female traveller to stay there was some rooms where the curtains in the windows was torn down , broken chair outside , some of the other guests was outside let's just say was enjoying a few pints etc but I gave it a benefit of the doubt and went and checked in so I could see what the room was like before making a disision wether to not stay. "We stayed for 3 night's and the manager and staff were very welcoming throughout our stay. The manager was very kind to give all of us upgrades which was a very pleasant surprise. Bedding/towels were very nice. Breakfast was very agreeable. You could choose from both continental and cooked items From the menu. Perfect spot for us as we were there visiting family/fiends in the area. Lots of great pub/restaurants to choose from in the surrounding areas."

"Left over noodles on the floor , dust and black mold in the shower , stains on the bed spread Person walking round naked and waking us up at 3 in the morning by pounding on our door , very noisy but staff where very nice and supportive"
