"A stunning property, full of stylish period features. We felt like we were the only guests staying and considered our stunning room with a view to be our 'home'. The onsite butler carried out his work so quietly we hardly knew he was there, but was always available to give friendly travel advice or assistance. Fantastic location in a charming historic village, complete with delicious eateries a short walk away. We will be back!!"

"My only complaint is that breakfast ends at 10am. No further complaints, the staff were friendly, helpful and kind. I enjoyed the recommendations given by reception when we were looking for restaurants in the area. Soo close to Salamanca Markets without being able to hear any noise or music from the market. Even while staying in the mountain view room!"

"We loved our short stay at the Rivulet and our room was spacious, well appointed and with a luxurious extra wide bed. We were aware of a shower running in another room but overall we had a very comfortable stay. The grounds and the amenities and on-site parking were also much appreciated. One regrettable incident occurred when the receptionist addressed the staff unprofessionally, in front of the customer, in which this case shouldn't happen."

"The room we stayed in was absolutely fantastic, great view of the harbour area and mountain. Really great to see they have incorporated the history of the building to be interactive and so good old photos of the building and surrounds. We had breakfast at the Atrium and both meals were huge. "I travel to Hobart once a year and have stayed at numerous hotels surrounding the CBD. I can honestly say that Hilton’s Double Tree has by far been head and shoulders above any other Hotel. To compare it, I would place Double Tree at the same level as Meriton Suites’ World Tower in Sydney (minus the view) The reception desk was staffed at all times by a minimum of two people.
