"The staff in the gift shop were very friendly and helpful as well as the staff in the bar and restaurant! Let me not forget the reception area as well! Overall it was a very good experience!"

"The first thing I have to mention is the excellent staff. Every one of them was polite, attentive and helpful and communicated well in spite of the language barrier. I didn’t speak a word of French but they did their best to communicate in English and they did a great job. Garden and City has lots of common spaces to hang around after a hard day of hiking. Most lodgings in Cauterets do not have common spaces. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. There is an in-house laundromat. Located in the center of town. Pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend this place."
