The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

"We had the best time staying at Kona Tiki Hotel! We loved hearing the waves crash in at night and the slow-down island vibe of the hotel. "This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand. Well appointed, with a salt-water pool and very nice communal areas. We stayed only one night, a stopover between Kona airport and the drive to Hilo. "Overall our stay at The Royal Kona Resort was amazing. Our ocean front view from our balcony was incredible. As they say.....location, location, location. The Luau on the property was great. Our dinners at Don's Maitai and tiki bar were the best. Really only one complaint. They have a 2 cup coffee maker in the room. We went to Walmart on the first night and bought a $13 12 cup coffee maker.Problem solved."
