"Only read reviews after I stayed. Personally my stay was ok. The receptionist /manager was polite and helpful to me. Very chatty, even upgraded my room when I arrived. The room was basic and wasn't all glamorous, but wasn't filthy. Bed was comfortable enough. Means to make facilities in room but I didn't use. Shared showers and bathrooms wasn't ideal but didn't really bother me. I was in no time rush so could afford to wait until one came free which wasn't long. There was a communal fridge and...

"Wow have stayed at The Village Ashton before but they have obviously improved things. Bed incredibly comfortable, little extras in room, huge TV and a fitness ball and mat in room. Check in smooth and easy. Will definitely stay again and recommend. "

"Room was basic, clean and had good connectivity. I stayed for 3 nights and slept well. The car park always had a space when I arrived back. Staff were very nice. The pub next door serves good quality food. I had the carvery which was very good. I only had a couple of cold items from the breakfast each morning the service was good and I could eat and get on my way quickly. "
