"The highlight of our stay was AnnaMaria at the Front Desk. She was the epitome of guest service from the moment we arrived to when we left. She came outside to welcome us and load our luggage onto a bell cart, took the bell cart inside and met us at the front desk to check us in. We were about an hour early for check in, but not only did she get us in our room right away, we were given an upgrade. AnnaMaria was professional, efficient, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Later that day, she directed me to an ATM and then anticipated I would need to change some bills and was ready. The morning of check out, she granted me a little later check out and it made all the difference to the end of our stay. AnnaMaria helped load our luggage into the car without being asked to, even though the valet was with me before she came outside. She really was amazing five star guest service agent.
The historic hotel was beautiful and the rooms were clean, contemporary and well appointed. The inclusive breakfast was fine, the usual selections. The valet were fine when spoken to, but they would not initiate guest contact. AnnaMaria, coming from inside the hotel, was quicker to assist than the valet. The location was nice, in between a couple of parks, quiet on the weekend because nearby businesses were closed, and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would stay again if we are visiting the area and when AnnaMaria is working."
"It was amazing! The beds are super comfy to sleep in. Had an amazing time hanging out with friends at the pool area. Would definitely stay again especially since most shops were walking distance."
"Superb reception and assistance from all staff.
Food at the hotel restaurants was fantastic.
It’s my go to place next time and will recommend it to friends and family"
"It's a beautiful building, the staff were wonderful. I loved the room, had an amazing view, and the bar was fantastic. I'll definitely be staying here again. You'll get some car/motorcycle noise from the street but that's anywhere downtown."
"It was interesting staying on an old historic paddlewheel boat. The bed wasn't as comfortable as it could have been. The rooms did not have temperature controls, so it was very cold all night. And there was only 1 thin blanket. Other than that, it was all right."
