"Great place to stay in Mission Bay, close to the beach and cafes. Easy trip into Auckland CBD too. Great accommodation, unmanned but communication is good with emails to tell us how to get in etc Definitely would stay here again! "

Convenient location, free parking daily, bed was comfortable, they provided complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate packets, & best part was the they cleaned the room well everyday. We ended up needing an extra night so we booked via a different website and the staff combined our two reservations and even switched us rooms when a fan wasn’t working to an upgraded view! We were so extremely comfortable and it was the perfect location right in main Devonport a one minute walk to the ferry which we took everyday downtown."

"Small, compact room where the space is extremely well considered. Lovely subtle - but - effective design flourishes, and simple gestures that mean the room is very useable and comfortable. Reminiscent of another of my favourite hotels - The Standard X in Fitzroy, Melbourne. It’s great to stay at a hotel where the amenities are well-considered, and the staff understand what hospitality is about. The service was friendly, warm and ver efficient. "My partner and I stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and the staff could not have been nicer!! They were so lovely from check in to check out making sure we had what we needed and providing that beautiful location for us to stay in. The decor in the house and our room in particular was stunning, rich and colourful. We would 100% recommend staying here as it’s only a 2 minute walk to the train station that takes you practically everywhere around Auckland!! Thank you Aachen House :))"

They are all friendly and willing to assist with any concern or question. The breakfast staff and buffet were fabulous- the healthy juices were uniquely refreshing!"
