Check in was easy, our room was adorable. Everything was convenient, the diner in the building was beyond excellent, the lounge was perfect and we were walking distance to our event. "Our room was clean, the valet service was fast, the hotel is a five minute walk from pantages, the walk of fame and amoeba music. Ten minutes drive to universal studios, and a great view on either side when you choose a higher floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. "

"Great hotel and convenient location. Fair warning, this hotel is in the middle of Hollywood, so with that, there’s a lot of traffic, parking sucks, and it can’t be noisy at times. But, you’re nearby a lot of really cool spots in Los Angeles so it’s a worthy trade off. The room was clean and the record player was a nice touch. Had a slight hiccup when I checked in, but it was quickly fixed. "

"I am always skeptical of negative hotel reviews, and glad I was! Stayed 2 nights Saturday to Monday for $429, a little higher than I'd like to spend on a hotel, but reasonable given the location. Staff was friendly all around. PROS: -Awesome, retro-modern decor in the common areas and room design. -Pool area is Palm Springs retro chic, lovely! -Rooms are smaller, but well designed, efficient, and clean. -Bed was comfy and slept well since we got a quiet room in the back of the hotel away...
