Well located hotel near the Spitaltor. Walking distance to Christmas markets and all sights. Owner was helpful and her dog Diamond was friendly. Our friends had their little dog with them and that was ok as they accepted pets.

Basic Homey Feeling Accomodations

This was the first stop on a 2-week trip we took with our 2 teen kids. We had to park outside the walls but the walk wasn't too bad. We felt like we were staying in someone's home. The cottage was basic. No air conditioning but our beds were comfortable. It was a good central location.

Pros: - Convenient location - Beautiful hotel and room - Clean room and nice bathroom - There is an automated process to checkin/checkout, but typing in information (like address, etc...) on a screen is a bit tedious Cons: - Not much in terms of amenities by default in the room (Fridge, kettle, etc...) - The reception area was empty most of the time and you have to call to get service - Internet speed over wifi was very low (700Kbps) and it kept disconnecting P.S: Most of the hotels don't have elevators in this city. This hotel is no exception.

Danke für einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer 6 ist geräumig, ruhig gelegen, es fehlte nichts. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls prima. Parken auf P1 oder P2 (wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt) klappt gut für 5,50 € Tagesticket.

If it's available - book it! Delightful stay!

We stayed one night, and from smooth check-in to friendly check-out everything was terrific. Perfect location to enjoy the old town, especially later in the evening and early morning with out the day trip tourists. Make sure to allow time to enjoy the garden in back. A rare quiet respite in any European city, so peaceful. Room was clean, bright, spacious by European standards, same with bathroom. We arrived by train, easy walking distance if you travel light. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the Boutiquehotel Goldene Rose. It is a charming small hotel which is very conveniently located, clean, comfortable and most importantly very welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

Besser ohne Hunde

Die Wirtin ist sehr sympatisch und hilfbereit, die Lage ist perfekt um die Altstadt zu erkunden. leider nicht so perfekt um ruhig zu schlafen, der Kopfsteinpflaster, der optisch super ist führt leder dazu, dass jeder PKW, der vorbeifährt bei klingt als ob ein LKW neben dem Bett fahren wurde (mindestens bei offenen Fenste, was im Sommer dringend notwendig ist. Für uns, die mit 2 Hunden angereist sind war es auch schade, das es zwischen den 2 Zimmenr der Suite (Zi 4) keine Tür gibt.Der Zuschalg von 20€ für 2 Hunde ist auch reltiv viel, dafür ist das gute Frühstück günstig.

Charming Hotel in a beautiful Town.

The Boutiquehotel Goldene Rose is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It's near the famous Plonlein in the Altstadt, which makes it just steps from the access to the city walls. The rooms were nicely appointed, the staff was friendly and super helpful. Close to restaurants and attractions. And breakfast was delicious. Added bonus... Diamond the Hotel Dog will greet you at breakfast.

Right on the main street of Rothenburg ob Tauber. Only difficulty is the parking - but close by and fairly reasonable price - like 6 euros a day. Great hostess, wonderful breakfasts, quiet, super clean.

Romantisches Hotel in tollem Städtchen

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im Nebengebäude/Garten. Sehr ruhig und geräumig. Frühstück gut, Service top. Sehr freundliche Inhaberin. Wir kommen wieder!
