Lovely cute single room with sink I was very happy. Good shower. Brilliant location within the city walls. Amazing breakfast - the reviews do not lie! Hotel is based above a delicatessen owned by the same people and the variety of quality cheeses and meats at breakfast was exemplary

Prime location

This hotel was a pleasant stay, emphasizing the cleanliness of the rooms, which contribute to a comfortable atmosphere. Its prime location is also a significant advantage, making it convenient for guests to explore the area. Additionally, the breakfast is quite enjoyable and of high quality. However, a notable drawback is the difficulty in finding the hotel, as the signage was not not be clear, posing a challenge for first-time visitors who arrive late in the evening . Overall, it was a very nice experience and would certainly come back.

My daughter and I were very grateful for our time at Pension Elke. After an extremely challenging travel day, it was dead of night yet we were welcomed kindly. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed fresh air from open windows, the toll of the tower bell, plenty of natural light, and a garden view. Flowers from the garden lined the entrance stairs full of summer scents. Our hosts offered a big beautiful breakfast spread which we enjoyed by a window looking out over the town. The location was perfect-we enjoyed touring Rothenburg with ease. When it came time to say good bye, check out was swift without issue. Our host was very kind and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend

I was VERY impressed of kindness and their hardworking you can drop your baggage before checking in Room is clean Old city office you can see form your room Breakfast is tasty, have various cheese, ham, bread and fruits But most of great point is their history pics on the wall tell you that this pension was once down or abandon(I'm not sure),so the owner had re-built with their family I want to stay at here someday

Spacious pristine room with a charming view but pretty spartan. I was put off by there being only paper cups in the bathroom (though later I saw a tray of glasses in the hallway with a sign saying “Help yourself “) and dismayed to find the shower gel in those diddly little packets you need a nail scissors to open. On a cold rainy day I really missed having a hair dryer and some way of preparing a hot beverage.

Proprietor Klaus is friendly. He runs a busy little shop down below. Breakfast was excellent. Location is quiet and convenient. Our double room with shared bath was very spacious and bed very comfortable.
