"Loved this historic grand old hotel that just exudes turn of the century charm and grandeur…not the 20th century, the 19th. It is like a snapshot of the history of the west with short walking distance to the historic Glenwood Springs Hot Springs and the Yumpah Vapor Caves. The main restaurant was also excellent. It was a favorite of Teddy Roosevelt, who visited often when the urge to shoot something with fur struck him. The best word I can think of to describe the Hotel Colorado is, authentic. "

"Fantastic stay at this hotel! The scenery was beautiful, staff were pleasant and we were even upgraded to an even better suite, upon arrival, without having to ask. Convenient ride to downtown Banff with the bus stop right across the street, as an added bonus. Highly recommend this accomodation to anyone that asks! "
