"Stayed in a cottage. To get to the property you do go down a dirt road but it is well maintained. Staff was very friendly and the cottage was very large and clean. Bathroom was kind of fun to maneuver the shower but still clean and doable. Would've spent more time at this location had I known how wonderful the cottage was. About 20 minutes from downtown but it's lovely and very peaceful."

"Don't expect to get access to the hot tubs. Not enough for the number of guests. But the setting is beautiful. If you get a west room, make sure the curtains close if it's sunny. Very hot otherwise."

"We got here 15 minutes before the restaurant was closing and they were still happy to cook for us. We had the best meal we’ve had so far in Iceland here! The Lamb was so flavorful, the potatoes cooked to perfection, great soup and salad too! The room was comfortable and clean. Bed was soft, shower hot and had fantastic water pressure. There was a beautiful waterfall just 2 minutes down the road. It was the perfect stay."
