"The place itself was immaculate. However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities."

"In most respects all amenities and staff exceeded expectations however I was there during a heatwave and the small fan did nothing to alleviate the heat the room, so I think a 9/10 is a fair assessment. I will definitely stay there again when in Swindon "

"I have stayed in many hotels but this was one of the best. The staff were very friendly and accommodating the hotel rooms here large and nicely decorated. The gardens provided a perfect setting for a late evening drink and winding down after a busy day. Yes there are probably, better hotels out there but for our stay this was a 5 Star event."

"My room was up a flight of not very well light stairs causing me to miss the last step it was above the bar and entertainment room, live music started 9PM and finished 11PM fine until more music started, at 11.50PM I rang down to see how long it will last, I was told 10mins, never happened, I rang at 1.10AM to ask again, someone hung up on me then finally it stopped. "Excellent hotel with very good rooms, quiet location on the edge of a large park. Plenty of parking and off beaten track so secure in that respect. Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access."

"Many parts of the hotel have been modernised and look and feel great. The breakfast was good and the pizza I had for dinner from the bar area was amazing! The staff were very kind, helpful and accomodating. Unfortunately, the rooms feel dated and need to be improved. The outdoor sitting area could be improved and kept clean and tidy."

"A nice pub but not a great place to stay when it's hot. No AC, which is fair enough for an old pub, but no fan in the room and, despite facing west, nobody had thought to close the curtains so the room was in full sun all afternoon and impossible to cool down. Opening the window just let in the noise from the road."

"The room was clean and spacious. Our only minor complaint is about the shower stall. It was only half enclosed so splashes of water on the floor was inevitable. The drain was also a little bit slow, so we had to turn down the shower flow to avoid standing in a puddle of water. "The hotel has very good and comfortable amenities. Unfortunately our aircon was broken but they have left a fan in the room, quite inconvenient in the heatwave but good service. Very lovely place to stay."
