We only stayed for one night but could easily be happy here for an extended stay. The 16% tax in Healdsburg is an ouch but this hotel tried to balance it with some nice perks like a free shuttle, wine pour and the breakfast was outstanding."

"The hotel is great. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed is too hard. The proximity to this rooftop bar makes it loud at night. The strangest thing about the hotel is the understaffing. The whole lobby is generally staffed by one guy. He’s the front desk, the valet, the bellhop, he may even be a bartender since the front desk doubles for the bar. If you need your car pulled up from valet, the entire lobby is unstaffed and anyone hoping to check-in just sits. Very weird."

First, it takes a long time to check in and you have to go to two different desks, the second of which includes a very pushy attempt to get you to sit through a 90-minute sales presentation. YOU CAN SAY NO TO THIS! The second is that within twelve hours of giving the front desk my email address, my mailbox was inundated with spam. And it just keeps coming."
