Freehand Chicago

"My teenagers and I enjoyed our time at Freehand Chicago. They really enjoyed staying in the bunk beds, which were very comfortable. Each bed has a light and outlets - perfect for charging stuff. The location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff was great! Very helpful when checking in (really the only time we interacted with them). Air conditioning worked great. The shower water pressure was great. I question if the little curtains between the beds have ever been washed, but that was our only concern about the cleanliness of the room. Overall we would happily return for another stay!"

"This motel is literally in the heart of downtown Chicago right off I-90. The room was clean, modern, and was a nice place to sleep and shower. Walkable distance to Soundbar, which I caught a show at while I stayed here. I felt comfortable walking around the area and the parking lot is safe. They have a reasonable parking and incidentals fees. Breakfast was included from the attached deli, but I did not try it, unfortunately. My only issue was the noise level of some of the other guests that were staying on the floor above me and around me, but that isn't really something the motel can control and Chicago parties late, so it is what it is. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Busy weekend in Chicago and the staff was dealing with IT issues at check in, but handled it and took care of me. Great location especially coming in on the red train. Gym was small, but nice. Signage on 12th floor for gym and pool was tricky. Like it was a secret. Room was great as was my stay."
