"Great location (walkable to Richmond riverfront) especially if you want to enjoy the grassland around the river. Lovely cafe hut nearby (down the hill) and easily accessible from Richmond train station by bus and a short, very uphill walk. The common areas of the hotel are very pleasant and comfortable. "Went on holiday for a couple weeks in the UK. This was my favorite room that I rented due to the kind owner and the amenities. The room had a Microwave & Refrigerator/freezer, which is something that all of the other hotel rooms I rented lacked. The neighborhood was nice and it was pleasant able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, train station and Kew Gardens/Palace. I felt safe walking around even when it started to get dark. "The hotel was conveniently located near the Kew Gardens (grabbed a bus which was so easy). They first put me in a room that was extremely hot and had no working AC (top floor which was already hot). No way I could sleep sweating so thankfully they put me in another room where the AC worked perfectly. I don't know how they couldn't know that it wasn't working which I found frustrating since maneuvering around this hotel isn't easy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. "
