"This is a great place to relax and to enjoy a beautiful view whilst being at the swimming pool or in the Jacuzzi. The staff is absolutely wonderful : always ensuring you are having a great experience. It's very quiet and close enough to different places to visit or to the activities to do in the area. We recommend without any hesitation."

"This hotel in the Douro Valley was a complete surprise-breathtaking scenery all around with walking access to the vineyards. It had a beautiful chapel onsite and indoor sauna and steam room as well as small indoor and outdoor rooftop pools. Amazing!"

"The Vintage House is a beautiful hotel located conveniently on the banks of the Douro River where the tour boats depart. The rooms are very well appointed and the entire hotel ,pool and grounds are wonderfully maintained. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the dining staff on the outdoor terrace provided very attentive service. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the menu for lunch and dinner had a great selection of food & wine. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it to others."
