"The (older) receptionist was rude, it seemed she didn’t care about guests, later the youngest one was more helpful (sorry, I didn’t pay attention to the names), they didn’t have my room ready on time. The electric outlets are only for Europeans, they don’t have USB or C chargers anywhere or adaptors for other travelers but Europeans. The shuttle to the airport was on time. The hotel was really clean, the restaurant was not open and there is only one nearby."

"It was a delightful surprise to find this impressive boutique hotel. Staff were excellent & our room was more than we expected. The restaurant served a plentiful, unique, & varied dinner on the patio. Despite the incredible heat it was fairly cool. And so delicious. Our stay was made even better when they provided taxi service from Basel airport & then to the airport the next morning. Promptly on time. I regret not using the spa service."

"Great location in the center, but the reception lobby and rooms are all a little dated. I was expecting something nicer and larger for the price. I guess you’re paying for the location, even though you must park 5 minutes away and walk in. We did not know we had a room on the 3rd floor with a tiny spiral staircase, and brought our rolling luggage. If we’d known, we would have brought a smaller overnight bag. "Das einzigste was uns nicht gefallen hat war, dass wir vom Flughafen kommend in dem Hoteleingang eine grosse Treppe zur Rezeption gehen mussten. Wir sind beide alt und mein Mann geht mit Stock und hat Probleme beim Treppensteigen. Ein freundlicher Herr hat den Koffer meines Mannes runter getragen und ich meinen Koffer. Bei der Abreise habe ich nachgefragt ob es keinen anderen Aufzug gibt. Der Herr an der Rezeption gab eine kurze Antwort: hier geradeaus raus dann links zum Glaskasten. Sorry,...
