Reasons to stay are the breakfast, the solarium with radiant flooring and potential views of the aurora borealis, the radiant flooring in the bathroom, and the hospitality of the staff. "The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless. It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing. It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Gym was nice for a hotel gym. Dining was a few minutes walk from the hotel with multiple options. The breakfast was great was well. Only complaint was that the spa was extra cost, and not worth the money. The cold plunge was completely drained and the two hot tubs began draining while we were in them. The sauna was amazing though! We overall recommend this property!"

The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay.
